HANSHI MICHAEL BRODMAN has been training
for over fifty-years, and is a member of the Okinawan Masters'
Council. A Hanshi since receiving his 7th Degree Black Belt in
Okinawa in 1977, Michael Brodman is currently a 9th
Dan.
Recently Hanshi Brodman's travels have taken him to the Shaolin Temple in China, where he was made a member of Shaolin and given The Secret Books of Shaolin by Abbot Shi De Li. Hanshi Brodman was further honored, as the first Okinawan style master to demonstrate on the Shaolin stage for a large group of Chinese visitors. Hanshi Brodman, in keeping with Okinawan tradition, has built a dojo as an addition to his home in rural West Chester, Pennsylvania.
